Pengaruh Pendekatan Pembelajaran Kontekstual Berbantuan BET (Buklet Edukatif Tematik) terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Ditinjau dari Motivasi Belajar Siswa Kelas II SD di Gugus V Kecamatan Sukasada
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan BET terhadap kemampuan menulis ditinjau dari motivasi belajar. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II di Gugus V Kecamatan Sukasada, dengan sampel sebanyak 88 siswa yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Desain penelitian adalah desain dua faktor dengan instrumen tes kemampuan menulis dan lembar observasi motivasi belajar. Data penelitian ini dianalisis dengan anava dua jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan menulis antara siswa yang mengikuti pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan BET dengan siswa yang mengikuti pendekatan pembelajaran konvensional (FA=4,97 > Ftabel=3,92); 2) terdapat pengaruh interaksi yang signifikan antara pendekatan pembelajaran dengan motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan menulis siswa (FAB=67,62 > Ftabel=3,92); 3) pada siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi, kemampuan menulis siswa yang mengikuti pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan BET lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang mengikuti pendekatan pembelajaran konvensional (Qhitung=9,8 > Qtabel=3,90); 4) pada siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah, kemampuan menulis siswa yang mengikuti pendekatan pembelajaran konvensional lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang mengikuti pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan BET (Qhitung=7,08 > Qtabel=3,90)Kata Kunci : kemampuan menulis, motivasi belajar, dan pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan BET This study aimed at finding out the effect of assisted BET (Booklet Educative Thematic) contextual teahing and learning approach upon students writing ability reviewed from students learning motivation. The population of this study was class II students of group V in Sukasada Sub-District, with 88 students were taken as samples done by using random sampling technique. It was two factors design with instruments of writing ability test and students learning motivation observation sheet. This research was analyzed by using Two Way ANOVA. The research finding showed that (1) there was significant difference of writing ability between students who were treated by assisted BET contextual teaching and learning approach and those who were treated by conventional teaching and learning approach (Fob=4.97 > Fcv =3.92); (2) there was significant interaction effect between teaching and learning approach and students motivation upon students writing ability (Fob=67.62 > Fcv =3.92); (3) on high learning motivated students, the ability of students who were treated by assisted BET contextual teaching and learning approach was higher than those who were treated by conventional teaching and learning approach (Qob=9.8 > Qcv =3.90); (4) on low learning motivated students, the ability of students who were treated by conventional teaching and learning approach was higher than those who were treated by assisted BET contextual teaching and learning approach (Qob=7.08 > Qcv =3.90)
